Emmett Furla Oasis Films initially was founded in 1998 and was a combination of Emmett’s extensive entertainment industry experience and Furla’s business expertise. In 2013 a collaboration was finalized with Oasis Ventures Entertainment.
The success to date has been rooted in the company’s ability to facilitate relationships between top creative talent (including actors, writers, and directors) and companies who produce, finance, and distribute motion pictures.
To date, more than 80 films have been produced which have grossed in excess of $1,000,000,000 box office ticket sales worldwide.
The films include The Amityville Horror, Rambo, 16 Blocks, End of Watch, Broken City, The Frozen Ground, Escape Plan, 2Guns and Lone Survivor.

Bruce Willis will star in The Prince, an action thriller that will be produced and financed by Emmett/Furla Films. The $15 million budget film will be directed by Sarik Andreasyan (American Heist) from a script by Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore, who scripted Ride at Fox and San Andreas 3D for New Line. Grindstone/Lionsgate Films will distribute and Hannibal Pictures will handle international sales.

Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films has teamed with Herrick Entertainment on Precious Cargo, an action thriller that Bruce Willis will star in, with Max Adams directing a screenplay he wrote based on his 2008 short film. The feature will be distributed through Grindstone/Lionsgate–it is the first film in a 10-pic deal set by E/F/O and Lionsgate–and Highland Film Group will sell the foreign at Cannes. E/F/O’s Randall Emmett & George Furla will produce with Herrick’s Norton Herrick, and Scott Mann & James Edward Barker of Mann Made Films.
